Rond de Jambe with barre stretch

The first part of this rond de jambe is fun and a great hip opener. The second part is torture.


Pick your poison.


from 5th:

Set 1:

1: tendu side

2: rond de jambe front, close on the &

3: tendu side

4: rond de jambe back, close on the &

5: pas de cheval side

6: passé

7: plié and extend to tendu front

8: rond de jambe to the side

&: rond de jambe to the back

1-4: 4 rond de jambe a terre en de hors

5-8: 2 grand battement en rond, and close back.

Reverse the whole combination from the back.


Set 2:

1: Battement front

2: carry side

3-5: 3 rond de jambe to the side de hors

6: carry to the front

7-8: cambré back

1: carry side

2-4: 3 rond de jambe to the side de dans

5: carry back

6-8: penchee

1-4: bend the leg to attitude and cambré back

5: extend to arabesque

6: battement through to the front, relevé

7-8: fouettee to the side and place the leg on the barre

Barre stretch as desired.
